Profile:
He
is a crowd-pulling batsman who can give his best if he just plays
his normal game. He has struggled a lot to come to this level. An
ace left-arm orthodox off-spinner Mohammad Rafique has been
proving his vitality in the Bangladeshi squad since 1994. Rafique
has a plus point; he can bat at any order if he is asked. His
career best 77 against Kenya came when he opened with Athar Ali to
put record 139 run in the opening-stand. He has taken twenty
wickets in his 23 ODI having an average of 46.55, which may sound
very mediocre, but he used to give the vital break-through and his
victims were renowned stars of world cricket. Among the
Bangladeshis he handled Tendulkar with relative ease and got him
thrice.
