Hitesh Modi a middle order batsman has played in all of Kenya's 25 One-Day Internationals, he made his debut for his country in 1992 and played in the 1994 and 1997 ICC Trophies and the 1996 World Cup . His highest score is 78* against Sri Lanka in 1996. His occasional off-spin will he hopes not be required in the 1999 World Cup. Modi has toured South Africa, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Namibia and Sri Lanka. A middle order batsman, Hitish Modi captained his home side Nairobi Gymkhana in 1998/1999.
