Profile:

A member of the World Cup 1999 Squad, Kennedy Otieno has played in all of Kenya's 25 One-Day Internationals prior to the World Cup. A right hand opening batsman and the leading Wicket-keeper in his country, he made his debut for Kenya in 1993, playing in the 1994 and 1997 ICC Trophies. His highest score is 144 against Bangladesh in 1997, and has toured India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Namibia and Malasia. Shared a World Record opening partnership with Deepak Chuasama in 1998 of 225 against Bangladesh, subsequently beaten by India v Sri Lanka in 1998.
