Profile:
Steve Tikolo is reputedly the best known player in the Kenyan side,
he has played first-class cricket for Border, and played for
Swansea in the Welsh league. An exciting batsman to watch, he made
his debut for the National side in 1990. His highest score was a
magnificent 147 v Bangladesh in the final of the 1997 ICC Trophy,
and hit 96 v Sri Lanka in the 1996 World Cup. His best bowling is
3-29 against India in 1998. Tikolo was named Man of the Series in
the tri-nation tournement between Kenya, India and Bangladesh. He
has toured Bangladesh, South Africa, Sharjah, India, Sri Lanka,
Pakistan and Malaysia.
