Profile:
Played first-class cricket for Somerset, Glamorgan and
Canterbury, where he produced his career best performance of 6-53
v Auckland in 1990-91. Has been a very effective one day
performer, taking 7-15 for Somerset in a NatWest match against
Devon in 1990. A steady right arm medium to fast medium bowler,
and a useful bat with a first class century (for Somerset against
Worcestershire) to his credit. Averaged 13.44 with the ball in the
ICC trophy, and was the Netherlands most consistent bowler. Became
captain of the Dutch national side in 1999.
