Profile:
Jehan
Mubarak - born in Washington but schooled in the privileged
bastion of Sri Lanka's educational system: Royal College, where he
was a highly talented all-round sportsman - has been given his
first opportunity to tour with the national squad as Sri Lanka's
extra batsman. A tall but graceful looking left-hander, he made
his Test debut against Bangladesh as an opener earlier in the
year, scoring 27 and 31. He is also a developing off-spinner,
identified by some as a future all-rounder. He has played for both
Sri Lanka Under 19 and Sri Lanka A.
