FASHION UPDATE

To find beauty… look within!
Got some vegetables lying idle in the refrigerator? Make use of them before they wilt their way to the garbage bin. Since the younger generation has some communal aversion to veggies, it has been researched than the greens can be put to better use than eating.

Here's a little help.
1. Olive oil, sugar, mint leaves and lime juice may make for a great salad dressing but they also make for an equally super hand scrub. No matter what you've been doing with your hands all day, a cool end-of-the-day massage would surely make them happy. Grind these ingredients together and for best results, have a pair of strong hands (preferably on broad shoulders) rub them in for you. Massage the scrub into the palms, working the product around. This also makes a great cuticle treatment.

2. It's time to be as cool as a cucumber. When the summer heat, sun, and sweat do trauma on your tresses, it's the cucumber to the rescue. Blend it with two table spoons of olive oil and this rich mask, devised by a celebrity stylist who counts Penelope Cruz among his famous clients, helps return your mane to its former soft and shiny self. Comb the mixture evenly through your hair, concentrating on ends. Let set for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, shampoo twice, and condition as usual.

3. For that annoying zit, use calamine lotion, which dries it out and shrinks the size. 100 percent tea tree oil is also very helpful in flattening out the zit and reducing its redness. To get blackhead free wipe of with cornmeal
