It's 'Mahina' time! |

'Mahina'
means month in Urdu, but globally, it is the name given to Louis Vuitton's
latest 'must-have' bag and globally it takes its name from the Maori
word for Goddess of the Moon. Taken from the original word, the bag
has been christened for its huge crescent shape, though LV has manufactured
it in black and grey, not a moonshine silver. And it comes in XL and
XXL sizes. Though the brand may not be available in Pakistan yet,
its copies certainly are. So for all you girls on the prowl, head
for your favourite shops in Zainab Market, Liberty or even Itwar Bazar
and you will surely come across something that works.
And for all of you who though big bags were out of fashion this year,
do not prepare to 'taxidermify' your luggage just yet. The trend will
continue this year and if anything, bags just got bigger. But they
are not stiff, in fact are soft and slouchy which actually makes them
a pain to handle. Honestly speaking, these bags are bulky, heavy and
a pain to carry. One has to literally fish in them to find one's keys!
Unfortunately one must stay 'with it'.
