| A
funky first for the house of Amir Adnan |

Yesterday
and today, FnkAsia, Park Towers is putting all its stock on sale to
make way for the FnkAsia look for 2007, which is military. The store
will be totally redone and the new clothes, shoes and accessories
will be in by December 25. The sale itself is fabulous. It begins
at six o' clock and there are sponsors providing free tea to ease
away those Sunday morning blues. A couple of people will be allowed
in at a time, once they are done, the next lot will be ushered in.
A red carpet and the attendance of celebrities outside will ensure
that the wait is worth it. FnkAsia will give people a shopping experience
to remember and to look forward to. With companies looking towards
fashion to promote their brands to an up market clientele, this is
easy. However, the biggest brand will be FnkAsia that took the youth
market by storm with affordable fashion this |

| entire
year. It will be interesting to see the response to the next line,
which is supposed to have no embellishment and is somberly stylish.
The previous line was all colour and funk and cute. So for that
essential dash of colour check out FnkAsia at reduced prices today
and later this week to get a load of their minimalism for 2007.

J holds online exhibition |
| |
Amean J has always stood out for his unique style of photography.
His pictures are about telling a story in an aesthetic manner. Now
Amean is holding his first online exhibition to showcase his work
on a mass scale. "The idea is to document things without altering
them. It is about going to places that you've never been and show
them for what they are." One form of inspiration for Amean has
been world renowned photographers Garry Winowgrand and Joel Sternfeld.
The places seen in this series are areas from Czech Republic and Prague.
This particular exhibition began on December 22, 2006 and can be viewed
by anyone, from any place. All one has to do is go online to www.ameanj.com

Interestingly,
inivations were sent out to not just the press or people in Pakistan
but to galleries in New York as well as the rest of the world. "I
want the world to know that this work is from Pakistan," says
Amean patriotically.
Easily accessible, anyone can buy a portrait by logging online and
filing a request form. To facilitate the demand of people, portraits
will be available in basic sizes and a specfic size can also be designed
on request. So do log on and check this exhibition out. It is a must-see
for anyone who wants to see what lies on the other side of the world! |
