Women all over the world generally tend to veer towards the safe side of pretty when experimenting with their hair; which really just means there is not much experimentation going on in that department. Straight and long has ruled the roost in the hair world since Friends stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox-Arquette re-introduced to the world ceramic hair straighteners. This fail-safe hair formula is especially popular with ladies in entertainment, particularly in the Subcontinent.
And honestly, straight and long, though it was the look on the runways for Spring/ Summer 2010, has forced us to acquaint ourselves with boredom induced comas.
Hence we salute Hadiqa Kiani, who plays with her look so often and so boldly that she gets marks for just venturing into territory no woman has gone before. At least in Pakistan.

Nicole Kidman might not be anybody's first choice when it comes to experimenting with how she looks in public, but ditching the perfectly sleek coif for a just slightly wilder mane of curls at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2010 deserves a thumbs-up.
