Story
An imaginary day  in the year 2999

It's the year 2999; bodies can be rebuilt from scrap. The ozone has been replaced by shields; artificial intelligence in robots has been replaced by real intelligence. The home of every person is personalised and customised according to his schedule, crime has either finished or is no longer detectable but terrorist factions have sprung up through out the Earth. Technology in weaponry has increased beyond measure. The identity of the president of a country is now always kept a secret. There is no school; education is transferred into the child's brain at birth. Oil, gas and coal have dried up or finished; instead, a new technology 'Tesla' has replaced them. Atomic energy has been replaced by a strange alien substance 'Tiberium'.

I woke up and behind me my bed disintegrated (dematerialised). I went into the washroom and I was brushed, showered, dried, clothed and my dream recorded for further viewing automatically. My PDA (type of cell phone) rang. I picked it up; a hologram of a man appeared - my boss - "When are you coming? You are late." I replied, "Sorry, I'll be there in-" my robot cut me and said, "in 6 minutes, 45 seconds and 95 nanoseconds, sir."  He nodded and hung up. I went into the kitchen and pulled out a packet of pills labelled 'Cheese Burger Double'. I popped one into the microwave de-compressor and after 30 seconds it turned into a cheese burger; I picked it up and started eating. I picked up my Brief (case) PC and went outside into the teleporting chamber. I entered the coordinates of my office and disintegrated and reintegrated into my office's teleporting chamber. Oh, and by the way, I work for a secret government organisation which is an anti-terrorist faction. My job is to sit on a super computer all day and try to hack into the master computers of terrorists or just locate them on the official map. My life used to be a little bit interesting before, when I was a spy, but I quit when I nearly got permanently disintegrated because someone pushed me into an elimination chamber. Luckily, using my time expander, I was able to re-programme the chamber so instead of killing me it teleported me to my home. But the teleporting went a little wrong because I did not have enough time and so my left eye brow was left behind. Hey! Wait a second who are you? If I am in 2999 and you are in 2008, how have I made contact? So, tell me what is it like in 2008? Pretty silly, huh! It seems what Stone Age would look like to you and besides I have to give this machine to my boss. I bet he would not believe that I made contact with a 2008er. Wow, I am a genius! Bye!
