Summer time is here again,
and that means only one thing... Summer movies extravaganza is headed our
way! Summer movies are always big, but this time they are not only big;
they're HUGE! Hollywood dishes out the best of the best in summer time to
entertain audiences all around the world. Big Stars, Big Action, Big Special
Effects and Big Movies rule the summer season. So let's see what Hollywood
has to offer Us in the summer vacations…
THE DARK KNIGHT
The follow-up to 'Batman
Begins', 'The Dark Knight' reunites director Christopher Nolan and actor
Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. In the new film,
Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim
Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the
remaining criminal organisations that plague the city streets. The
partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a
reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK

The sequel to the 'Hulk',
'The Incredible Hulk' kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic
of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. Scientist Bruce Banner
(Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that
poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him.
Living in the shadows, Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his
nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery
that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power. Soon the Hulk is
confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim
Roth), whose strength exceeds even The Hulk's own.
HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY

This is the sequel to the
2003's movie based on Mike Mignola's Dark Horse comic character. Ron Perlman
returns to the title role as Hellboy, a humanoid creature born in the flames
of Hell and brought to Earth as an infant. Raised in secret, Hellboy becomes
an agent for the secret Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development (BPRD),
a covert government agency which serves as the planet's line of defense
against otherworldly evil. After an ancient truce existing between humankind
and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to
erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies
his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it's up to
the planet's toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator
and his followers.
HANCOCK

There are heroes, there are
superheroes, and then there's Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes
great responsibility - everyone knows that - everyone, that is, but Hancock.
Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned
heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to
leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough,
and the citizens of LA are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy.
Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think - until the
day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and
the scornful superhero begins to realise that he may have a vulnerable side
after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet, and a task
that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that
he's a lost cause.
KUNG FU PANDA
In this animated comedy,
enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy, Po is the biggest fan of Kung Fu
around...which doesn't exactly come in handy while working everyday in his
family 's noodle shop.
Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become
reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols,
the legendary Furious Five - Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey, under
the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. But before they know it, the
vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way, and it's
up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Starring the voice
talents of Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Jackie Chan, and Dustin Hoffman.
WALL*E
What if mankind had to
leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off?
Academy Award winning writer-director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) and the
inventive storytellers at Pixar Animation Studios (The Incredibles, Toy
Story, Ratatouille) transport moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for
a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot named
WALL•E. After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for,
WALL•E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new
purpose in life when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to
realise that WALL•E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's
future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans.
Meanwhile, WALL•E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of
the most imaginative comedy adventures.

THE X-FILES 2: I WANT TO
BELIEVE
In grand 'X-Files' manner,
the film's storyline is being kept under wraps. The supernatural thriller is
a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and
beloved episodes, and takes the always complicated relationship between Fox
Mulder and Dana Scully in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his
unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the ferociously intelligent
physician, remains by his side.
THE MUMMY 3: TOMB OF THE
DRAGON EMPEROR
Explorer Rick O'Connell
(Brendan Fraser) returns to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an
epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid
Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex, wife Evelyn
and her brother, Jonathan. And this time, the O' Connells must stop a
shape-shifting mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to
plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF
THE EARTH
In this update of Jules
Verne's 'Journey to the Center of the Earth,' Brendan Fraser plays a
geologist, who, with his teenage son, discovers a message hidden in an
ancient artifact, leading them into a previously unseen world.
GET SMART

Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell)
is on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world domination by the evil
crime syndicate known as KAOS. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency
'Control' is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief
has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has
always dreamt of working in the field alongside superstar Agent 23 (Dwayne
'The Rock' Johnson). Smart is partnered instead with the lovely-but-lethal
veteran Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway). Given little field experience and even less
time, Smart, armed with nothing but a few spy-tech gadgets must thwart the
doomsday plans of KAOS.
WANTED
Based upon Mark Millar's
explosive graphic novel series, 'Wanted' tells the tale of Wesley Gibson
(James McAvoy), an all-time loser. Everyone was certain this detached loafer
would amount to nothing. Until Wes met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie).
After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly Fox recruits Wes into the
'Fraternity' - a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad's death by
unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop
lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers that this team
lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by
fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutors, including the Fraternity's
enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman), Wes grows to enjoy all the strength
he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realise there is more to his
dangerous associates than meets the eye.
