Karachi is the food capital of Pakistan and fast food is the lifeblood of the city. People live on fast food whether it's kebab rolls, bun kebabs or burgers. Burgers have changed the playing field like no other food in Karachi. It's reached a new status as burgers are on offer from fine dining restaurants like Okra, cafes like Espresso and Café 76 and from, of course, the biggest international fast food chains of the world.

FatBurger has just joined that league, the international food chain opened in January to an overwhelming response. From the taste to ambience and cleanliness, everything is up to the mark. FatBurger has been quite tempting for Pakistanis; they have burgers, hot dogs, wings and shakes. A unique and fun concept is when orders are repeated to the line cooks who sign it back in unison, the customers were amazed to see the unity (and harmony) among all of them.

FatBurger has the family style enjoyment concept and offers a casual dining environment much like a diner. The restaurant is surrounded with whiteboard walls where people have scribbled comments of their experience. They offer a wide range of Homemade Onion Rings, Fat Fries, Skinny Fries, Chilli Cheese Fat Fries, Jalapenos and more. They have the option of making your burgers small, medium, large XXL or XXXL, that means you can add as many patties as you can handle! You should skip the soft drink (regardless of the free refills) and have the Oreo shake instead. These are not your ordinary burgers since the patties taste fresher and keep you full without feeling like you're about to burst.

There is much comparison between Hardee's and FatBurger and everyone has their preference. While FatBurger is available at Karachi's most upscale mall, Hardee's has yet to expand their operations.  Don't miss the scrumptious FatBurger and there is good news; FatBurgers is coming to Islamabad soon!
If you don't like your burgers all hoity-toity, you can always sit at a secluded booth with your messy burger and chow down.
