which is ready for a fashion show, anytime. Where Ensemble has a garden,
that has hosted some very stylish fashion shows, Asad Tareen's Runway
Store has a readily available catwalk. Nadya Mistry built a runway
in her Park Towers outlet years ago, but it has hardly ever been put
to use. Arshad insists that the Runway Store will hold shows for all
seasonal collections stocked in-house.
Asad Tareen has promoted ready to wear fashion in Pakistan and he
has inspired others to follow in his footsteps too. With plans of
expanding to Islamabad, Lahore and eventually Dubai, The Designers
has plans of going places and Asad Tareen deserves much credit for
taking fashion along with it. |

He has brought Lahore-based designers to Karachi, he has created a
ready runway at his new store for the use of his in-house as well
as other designers and he has developed an in-house fashion label
to train and encourage fresh fashion graduates into the business of
fashion. Asad Tareen has steadily expanded the singular multi label
boutique on Zamzama, which he opened three years ago and for all that,
he is Hotstepper of the Week. His business acumen and great fashion
savvy has been made him an important name in the fashion industry
today. Stocking evening ready to wear by designers Karma, HSY, Sublime
and Rouge alongside Arshad Tareen's label ART and his in-house label
Maysoon, Asad has made his latest runway store a hot stop for all
the fashion and label conscious in the city.
