Hotsteppers
of the week
Strings |

With
the release of their brand new spanking album Koi Aanay Wala Hai and
music video, Strings has arrived again, after a huge gap of five years,
with a big bang. Their album is phenomenal and the video, which is
one of the most expensive pop videos till date, more then exceeds
expectations. It is so beautifully shot and so outstanding in terms
of scale, concept, and presentation that for the first time, a pop
video has got a theatrical showcase and is being shown in movie theatres
across India.
John Abraham features as an angel in the video with the basic concept
being, 'There is an angel watching over everyone.' With this album,
strings has blown music enthusiasts away. Bolder and edgier then before,
this duo definitely is a class apart. Their music has evolved and
they have taken risks by experimenting, which is what makes Koi Aanay
Wala Hai the fantastic listen that it is. |

| They
have gone across the border and across the seven seas and done Pakistan
proud wherever they have performed. They are the essence of hard work,
consistency and determination and are an asset for our country. |

Faisal and Bilal
are two guys who always make me feel that this is what Pakistan
should be. I've seen their journey up close and I have listened
to it too. They have never disappointed us They have evolved.,"
said Imran Aslam, the President of Geo Television Network at their
recent album launch. These two remind me of Simon aur Garfunkel.
They are always with a suitcase and probably a guitar. But the suitcase
is full of dreams, full of attributions and full of culture and
so firmly rooted that we should all be very proud of them,' he summed
it all up very movingly.
We couldn't agree with him more. Hats off to Faisal Kapadia and
Bilal Maqsood for giving us another jewel in the form of Koi Aanay
Wala Hay. For their outstanding and riveting album and video that
has got the nation humming their tunes nobody but them deserve to
be hotsteppers this week.
