Nickie Nina are Instep's hotsteppers of the week - and they've really been hotstepping their way through the country! This glamorous fashion duo has become quite a popular choice amongst fashionistas who count their stores in Lahore and Karachi as shopping stops. Whether it is their collection of designer fabric - which has been quite a hot seller - or their chic collections for occasions such as Valentine's Day, Nickie Nina are definitely making headlines.

This week, we've chosen them as hotsteppers because they took their brand of fashion to Switzerland earlier this month, where they were invited to represent and showcase Pakistani fashion at a fundraiser in Geneva organized by the Swiss Pakistan Society. It is always fantastic when Pakistani designers go abroad to put the glamorous face of the country on the world map, and with all the doom and gloom pervading abroad about Pakistan, kudos to Nickie Nina for having put Pakistani fashion out there. The design duo can be seen in the picture with our models Mehreen, Tooba and Sunita, all in Eastern finery. It's the best way to show that there is a sensibility and tradition in Pakistan that has nothing in common with the headline grabbing Taliban.
