Pink
denim has made a comeback, returning to fashionable wardrobes after
almost a decade of hibernation. The beginning of a new millennium
brought about this trend. It was United Colours of Benetton that introduced
pants in various funky colours, out of which pink denim made the most
sales. And now it's time to affix funk to your wardrobe yet again,
as pink denim is back and this time, with assortment and diversity.
It isn't only hot pink denim pants or jackets you should have in your
closet. Add multiplicity to your pink denim compilation, by picking
out on several colours ranging from tea pink, light pink and even
shocking pink. Apart from pants and jackets, pink denim dresses, capris,
skirts, shrugs and even handbags are the essentials of this season.
Now you might think that pink is for the 'girlies' only, but it was
endorsed by style icon Sarah Jessica Parker (for Gap) which means
that pink denim has just matured a bit. The fact that pop icons like
Rihanna are wearing it is further proof. So don't hesitate and splurge
