vThe Jackson Five have announced that they are reuniting
for a tour in 2009 and might also release some new material, but Michael
Jackson has said he will not be joining his siblings for the reunion. The
singer says he is "now in the studio developing new and exciting
projects that [he looks] forward to sharing with [his] fans in concert
soon".



v In an effort to get back at the paparazzi, Britney
Spears has started a new section on her website (britneyspears.com) to mock
the paparazzi photographers, in which she will be giving a weekly
"award" to the photographer who she thinks has made the biggest
fool of himself.
v Radiohead's Thom Yorke is giving away a free download of
a remix version of his song Harrowdown Hill -- the original of which appeared
on his 2006 album The Eraser -- in celebration of his bandmate Jonny
Greenwood's birthday and Barack Obama's win which marks "the dawn of a
new era in politics in the USA", and as a "small reminder of the
dark days of Bush".
v Jal are releasing the video of their song Moray Piya,
which has been directed by Aamir Malick. The band recently won three awards
-- video and song of the year for Sajni and album of the year for Boondh --
at the Lux Style Awards 2008.
v Call have completed work on their as-yet-untitled second
album, which is scheduled to be released in February next year. The record
will feature twelve tracks, including Kyun
and Abhee Dair Hai. According to rumour mill, a song Mein Aisa Hee Hoon from
the album is likely to be released as a single. Another song Yeh Pal will be
featured in the Indian movie Aasmaan (starring Nauheed Cyrusi), while Dharkay
Jiya will appear in the movie Aaloo Chaat (starring Aftab Shivdasani and
Aamna Shareef).

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump have broken
the world record for the most interviews by a duo in 24 hours, by completing
72 radio interviews (starting at 3 am on the 31st of October). The interviews
varied in duration between eight to 20 minutes. The duo beat the previous
record of 57 interviews set by New Zealanders Alastair Galpin and John
Stansfield (May 2008).
MTV EMAs 2008
The Europe Music Awards were held in Liverpool on the 6th
of November. The award show featured performances by Take That, The Killers,
Kanye West, Kid Rock, Beyoncι, Duffy, Pink, as well as show host Katy Perry.
