times they are a changing for fashion and in the best possible way.
By the time you read this, the first Ritu Kumar fashion store will
have been opened in Pakistan. One of the most iconic designers in
India, Ritu Kumar is a favourite with both Indian and Pakistanis the
world over. So it was natural that when Ensemble opened its doors
in Pakistan, Ritu Kumar was the first brand they stocked. A smooth
operation owned and managed by Zeba Husain and her daughter Shehrnaz.
But one can only expect the best from them. The Hussain ladies ooze
class, and being frequent flyers to India, they understand what India
has to offer and what Pakistan will appreciate most. After stocking
Rohit Bal and Tarun Tahiliani at Ensemble Karachi, bringing a Ritu
Kumar franchise was a natural next step. Three cheers to both of them
for having the vision to broaden the horizon for fashion in Pakistan.
