Floral

At this year's Lux Style Awards, Ali Zafar was the star on stage as he regaled the audience with foot tapping ditties. But off stage the star that really hit the right notes was Ali Zafar's wife, Ayesha Fazli. Usually we see a multitude of celebs wearing 'Grecian goddess gowns' but Ayesha made her look fun and fresh when she chose a floral print. Ayesha creates a gorgeous shape with a cinched belt high on her waist and a pop of color with coral nails.

Metallic

Metallics can be seen in shoes, bags and even as a nail colour this season. Most of us would be scared to wear a metallic outfit, but not model/actress Aaminah Sheikh. She wows in a combination of matte metallic and a peek of shine in gun metal at the Lux Style Awards.

Dreamy

Spring is all about the blooms and Mathira works her ethereal gown perfectly. The combination of white and a splash of vibrant colours add to her polished and dreamy red carpet look. Her train gives her ensemble that extra oomph that's perfect for show stopping red carpet glamour.

Draped

Stylist and fashion chameleon Asmaa Mumtaz takes the draped trend and lends it her style sensibility. Draping can add unwanted bulk but the wrapped bodice of Asmaa's outfit keeps her on trend and adds two other trends (lace and jumpsuit) without going OTT. That's true style!

Neon

Neutral plus Neon equals High Voltage Style. Take it from Azza fashion designer Aziza Desai who wore a perfect beige outfit topped off with a tangerine bolero. The designer showed a stellar collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week and showed off her stellar style on the red carpet at the same event. Great designers should sport their great style.

Peplum

Peplum refers to the addition of fabric around the waist to a shirt or dress to create an hourglass silhouette. It all started at the Costume Institute's Met Gala where some celebrities used the accentuated feature to look romantic and others for a futuristic take. When it made its way to Bollywood, Deepika Padukone kept it white hot.
