What misconceptions do people have about you?

That I only do photography. I’ve studied graphic design, and worked under Asim Raza, one of Pakistan’s leading directors. I enjoy both film and photography, and plan on pursuing both passions.

What is the worst rumour you have heard about yourself?

I once came across a fashion blog that said I was a makeup artist, stylist and a world-leading ‘bridal’ photographer.

Any lessons learnt the hard way?

In Pakistan, everything is last minute.

What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever said to you?

So far my fans have been fairly appropriate and very supportive.

I primarily work as a film/video director.

What drives you: money, fame or success?

Success.

Chick flicks.

What is the most important relationship advice you can give?

Don’t overthink things.

My trigger finger.

By watching sports.
