  4. It is not only due to education, in fact, there are many other reasons behind the job crisis in Pakistan. We have to educate the students in other disciplines as well.

  5. In the present world and in future, the IT technology will encompass the whole of life style of humans and everything from home affairs to businesses and public services.

Information Technology is a very convenient way to deal with. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp IT as fast as possible before we are left behind.
    Sher Yar Khan

  6. Education in IT is a must specially because the use of computer related technology has increased incredibly in the business sector. Therefore, people with practical knowledge of computers are more likely to get jobs as compared to others.

  7. Education, not necessarily or exclusively IT education, is a solution to job crisis market. Although IT education is vocational-oriented, education in general allows for development of skills needed to generate wealth. China, for example, claims that literacy rate in China is about 80%, which is a prime factor in attracting foreign capital and industry to set up manufacturing industries that require skilled labor.

With busting of the dot.com bubble globally, the attractiveness of IT education has suffered. It took India nearly four decades to develop necessary educational infrastructure for producing world class IT graduates. Given time, at least a couple of decades, Pakistan should also be able, as is China trying to duplicate India's success in this area.

  8. I think, we should emphasis more on IT education, but it doesn't mean that we should ignore rest of the subjects. We should promote our medicine, engineering, agriculture and arts education as well.

  9. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems in Pakistan and this could be solved by IT. I think government is right to spread IT around the country.
