 Former Pakistani Captain, Wasim Akram, has been excluded from the team for the Asian Championship and the home series against New Zealand. What are your comments?

  1. It’s very sad that the PCB has excluded Wasim Akram from the team. It’s totally wrong. But this is not the first time and they have done so a lot of times in the past. In my opinion, Wasim Akram should be included in the team.

  2. Wasim is no doubt the greatest of all times but the important thing is his fitness. If he is 100% fit so why he is not in the team? We need players like Wasim Akram against the Indian team. I think it will be a great loss for Pakistan if Wasim is not included in the final squad.

  3. In my point of view, we have to give chances to the newcomers to avoid depending upon senior players. Without any doubt, Wasim Akram is the best player in the world.

  4. The PCB is irrational enough to exclude the all-time finest player on self-made claims of so-called 'unfitness' even though Wasim passed the fitness test, yet they stick to the ever injured, useless and worthless Shoaib Akhter. Can there be a limit to the PCB's hypocrisy?

  5. In my opinion, it is very unfair to exclude a cricketer of international repute like Wasim Akram from the team. The PCB is requested to review its decision and include Wasim in the team.

  6. I feel very sorry for the exclusion of Wasim Akram from the forthcoming test series and the home series. I seriously feel that something should be done to streamline the anomalous selection policy of the PCB. I sincerely think that he should be given full chance to play in the next couple of years and for a player of his calibre, one can not ignore his achievements.

  7. Dropping Wasim Akram from the team is not a good news as he is the most experienced all rounder and his presence in the team pressurizes the opposite teams.

  8. It’s sad not to have Wasim Akram in the team who has done so much for the Pakistani cricket team. It is a habit of PCB (Pakistan Cicket Board) to exclude the best players when they are needed. They have done the same with so many players in the past.
