This law is totally against the Muslim world. They should boycott the American goods and stop their oil supplies to the America.

First of all we should make it clear that whatever that are doing is to take care of their citizens therefore, most dangerous people for them are Muslims therefore its Pakistani or any other Muslim from another country will have to go through this process.

Now message to all Pakistanis why we are going to USA for better future prospectus on cost of what getting insulted in this way we will always be the 2nd class citizen in USA.

Live & enjoy in Pakistan this is the heaven for us so please all of us believe in Pakistan.

I think that security is for all, if they think they can be harmed then they should take measures against every person entering in their country, but saying that Muslims are the only ones to be checked is not a right thing .By this act of Muslims of the world should clearly understand that what kind of ambitions, USA has in its mind, for them.

I am an Indian Hindu, currently living in USA. So, probably some of you may feel I am biased but I sincerely feeling this is wrong to say that this law is discriminatory.

Secondly, why do you people feel that non-Muslims hate Muslims? It is certainly incorrect. You should understand that the people who are following different religions are also human beings just like you and they love peace as much as you do.

Thirdly, it is good that you want to preach your religion in every part of the world. If you sincerely want to do jihad, you should try to convince people for it peacefully rather than forcefully.

This shows the double-standard policy of US against Pakistan and many Muslim states. The US policy of finger-printing the Muslim states shows the discriminatory attitude of the US government against Muslims. On one hand, US government wants those Muslim states to be their allies, and
I would say that one should not blame the whole group or any religion just because of the action of few bad people.

United States has every right to defend its Citizens. The culprits were from Muslim countries; therefore, it makes logical sense to single out Muslims from other countries.  Lets keep one more thing in mind that there were lot of Muslims who died in that attack and lot of Muslims are also the citizens of the United States, all America is doing is to protect its Citizens.

The World doesn’t expect from the only super power (US) in the world to induce discriminatory rules against the world’s largest community – The Muslims. Criminals and terrorists can be born in any religion, race or community. Setting up these kinds of discriminatory rules means US certifying the entire Muslim community as a community of terrorists.

This kind of prejudiced rules will create more divisions, chaos and commotion in the world. In action, then, one could also point a finger on other non-Muslim terrorists group. What about those white extremist groups exist in US and Europe ? What about Jews extremist groups in US? Shouldn’t they be treated in the same way by the other (Muslims) countries? US should also not forget the Muslims are largest investors in American economy.

The Muslims World has already been experiencing that this war against terrorism is only targeting Muslims around the world, who have really nothing to do with terrorism any where in the world. Implementation of this kind of rule will certify the Muslims thoughts against Washington policy makers.

This new law is extremely against all Muslims around the world.

The new sort of so-called security measures taken by US are another proof of what they originally think against the Muslim. I think everybody still remembers what the US President Bush said about "war on terrorism" that this war is not against Muslims but on terror.  So, why these security measures just against "Muslims" going  to US?

This law is discriminatory against only us Muslims but for Americans it has different
meanings.

It is good idea for taking more precautions against the terrorist act, but it should be applicable to every person without any discrimination

My view is that it is justified for the United States to do so. Basically, your question ignores a critical distinction. The finger printing is not for Muslims alone, but for the people from a handful of states known to have produced most Al Qaeda terrorists. In fact, most Muslim states are not part of this. So, let us be honest.

Clearly, the U.S. government thinks that the measure will help them in ensuring the security of their people and its benefits outweigh its diplomatic or political costs.

We should focus more on our own domestic issues and how to do our best for our country. If we do not like any country's visa laws, we can always stay away from that country.

instead of blaming or criticizing  the US government we should improve ourselves first. What the people have done and still doing in the name religion, no civilized country would tolerate it.

I believe that the Muslims have brought this discrimination upon themselves. Had they stopped the hate rate against the non Muslim, they must have been admired by rest of the world.

Zahid Hussain

In my opinion the US government discriminatory law about the Muslim visitors to the USA is just to stop the spread of Islam there as it is very fast/vast spreading religion in USA.

Muslims are being treated by American exactly the same way as Nazi treated Jews in Germany. Sickening attitude by Bush Administration towards Muslims in the name of war against terror. It should be condemned loud and clear by the entire Muslim World.

Good very good for all the Pakistani's who claim and sing songs of American democracy and cry what a horrible place Pakistan is, hope this opens their eyes. One more slap on the face of the word democracy. But, then what's new? This is America- world's most much hailed democracy that cherishes human values and fights against discrimination. Did Bush say that? He also mentioned crusade but never thought that it was just a slip of tongue and only actions are now supporting that!

Amnesty International readily jumps for our throat for child labour, women discrimination, slogans to avoid death penalty for killer of 100 kids, and American government putting pressure on Pakistan to write column on religious background for having Pakistani passport as it was discriminatory for some religious sects supportive of America.

But does this mean even a two years old will also be scanned. If yes then where are the rights of the children children. What do we tell the baby that he is now in the records of FBI for being born in a Muslim family?  Well I have my dignity and enough self worth to say have it for yourself America, I don't even wish to visit  if the trip was for free and if your America was the last place on the earth to survive!

The recent announcement about the checking of Muslim visitors has unveiled the
inner hatred and discriminatory attitude of not only US but all the Non-Muslims countries against the Muslim.

MAHWISH BUTT

It only shows USA's double standard policy for Pakistan. On one hand, Pakistan is USA’s key ally in the war against terror. On the other hand, Majority of Pakistanis is Muslim and will be finger-printed, photographed and registered when entering the USA if they get the visa in the first place.

I think it is time Pakistan realizes that USA will never support Pakistan as it does to Israel. In case war breaks out against India, Pakistan will have to bear the brunt alone.

It is abhorrent to the principles of equal rights that for the sake of security reasons only Muslims will be targeted for finger printing.

I believe it is their right to check where they feel insecurity. We as

Muslims of today deserve this type of insult because they claim to be Muslims but are not ready to follow Islam in true sense. This is Allah's wrath and decision and will continue unabated unless we repent, ask Allah for forgiveness and start following Islam.

The new law brought into force by the USA Government concerning fingerprint etc, regarding all Muslims is actually an extension of their existing war against Islam.

The Government of the United States of America has introduced new visa laws after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. The U.S. government has all the rights to protect its soil after the terrorist attacks which killed 3000 people of various nationalities, but the visa laws should not only be confined to Muslim community, as these laws are required to be imposed on every single person without any discrimination of religion, cast or sect., whosoever enters in the United States.

There are millions of Muslim-Americans who are living in the United States from decades and are equally contributing in all walks of life including the U.S. economy. However, if new visitors visa laws are imposed for Muslims only, in order to register them on each arrival in the United States, which will include taking of their photographs and fingerprints, this will definitely go against the popularity of the sitting President Mr. George W. Bush.

In the last U.S. elections which were held in the year 2000, it was only the Muslims voters who made all the difference and cast their votes in favour Mr. George W. Bush and played a decisive role due to which Mr. George W. Bush got the chance to become the U.S. President.

The new visitor visa rules for the Muslims will create ill-feeling against the U.S. Government and more particularly against Mr. George W. Bush, and there is a possibility that he may not be able to get Muslim community votes in the next U.S. elections which are supposed to be held in the year 2004.

If such discriminatory laws against the Muslims are not withdrawn by the U.S. government, it will give a strong indication that the Bush government is treating all Muslims as "possible suspected terrorists", which will shake the confidence of the Muslim voters and in the next U.S. elections and it will make all the difference once again when Muslim voters will choose Mr. Al-Gore, who lost last presidential elections in the year 2000 who may win in the next U.S. elections and become the next U.S. President.
