The
people of the United States do not want war with Iraq, but it is the US
government, which is bent upon imposing it on the people of Iraq. After the
passage of UN resolution, the fear of US war with Iraq has increased many folds.
The US government, which preaches for settling the matters through negotiations,
has now planned "swift ground actions" to overthrow Iraqi leadership.
Attacking
Iraq will not reduce the threat of terrorist attacks on the United States. In
fact, if American military forces attack Iraq, this will increase the likelihood
of another terrorist attack on the United States.
Over
the last 40 years, the United States has bombed Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, El
Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Grenada, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, and Yugoslavia. The US
has killed millions of humans in small impoverished third world countries, who
were no threat to the US. If the US wants terrorism to stop, then it
must stop practicing terrorism.

That pathetic institution called the UN Security Council has been degraded to become the US Security Council. This is due to American imperialism in its most shameless form. Saddam invaded Kuwait to grab its oilfield, and he was declared an international outlaw and a war criminal.
Now Bush with Blair wants to invade a
noncombatant Iraq to grab its oil fields by breaking all international norms of
rule of law. The question is what is difference between the criminal act about to be committed by Bush, and
the criminal act committed by Saddam?

The UN Security Council resolution on
disarmament of Iraq is only tool to occupy Iraq. Rulers of Muslim countries,
specially the Arab states, will not be able to take any step, except crying.

After inspection of weapons in Iraq, they will start bombing. During the last
twenty-five years, the US has attacked more than 30 countries, turning them as
the poorest countries of the world. It is not difficult to imagine who could be
next.

Security Council resolutions are only meant for "Muslim Countries". Muslim
countries have to follow the orders from the world body and its leaders.
Muslim countries have great economic, political, defence, and social
potential, but unfortunately Muslim leadership is very bad. In whole Arab world
they are Islamic but do not follow Islam when it comes to equality, human
rights, and Muslim brotherhood.
This does not make sense that people like Saddam rule 35 years, ruin the whole country and still cling to the power. These kinds of leaders have damaged Muslims image more than the west. Muslim world need to bring change first internally before blaming on the West or UN. The UN and West will definitely take advantage of these situations by keeping double standards of forceful implementation of Security Council resolution. Irony that Muslim leaders at UN has never dared to speak forcefully on this issue.

The draft resolution on Iraq shows how is isolated the Islamic world.
The Islamic countries are supporting this action (with few reservations)
to dig well for themselves where they all can drown.
Why disarming Iraq is so necessary where the
most terrible terrorist state like Israel and the US keep their biological,
chemical and nuclear weapons intact. No one can see this and like to open their
mouth. May Allah give Muslims the courage to face the reality.

It is not the arsenal of Iraq that is causing threat. But, it is lunatic
ruler who is a threat to his own country and the world. The UN should ponder
over the ways and means to replace him by hook or crook as he has turned a
constant threat to the Muslim world.
