Your Opinion
The
opposition still has "anti-LFO" sentiment, that's not a surprise.
I don't think the opposition even knows what LFO is actually? What does
it mean and what is the function of LFO?
All they know and care is just anything which is not good for them, and comes as
an obstacle for them is to oppose. If the opposition is really serious
about rebuilding the country then they must accept LFO as a part of the
constitution because Supreme Court has approved it. Hence, the people who
care about Pakistan have approved it.
My advice to the members of the opposition parties is to accept LFO
and work with the government to rebuild Pakistan as a strong
nation.

The opposition parties have
lost the game. If they were against the amendments made by the President
Musharraf to the constitution of Pakistan, they should have boycotted the
elections since vital constitutional related to the federal as well as the
provincial legislatures.
Their participation in the
elections meant they accepted the amendments that formed part of the Legal
Framework Order. If one part of the said order was accepted, it simply means
that the opposition leaders accepted the legality of amendments.
They chose to contest the elections because they found it impossible to persuade
the electorate not to take part in the October polling. They were scared that in
case there was boycott by them the other candidates will win and they will not
reach the elected bodies.
During their negotiations with the government parties they had demanded that the
President should vacate the office of the chief of the army staff. They accepted
him as president for five years on the basis of referendum that he won. Holding
referendum was an extra-constitutional step but the opposition parties do not
have any objection to the President to continue for a full term provided he
vacates the said office. The opposition parties should understand that the
electorate accepted the constitutional amendments by casting their votes in
the elections. Their participation in the electoral process is a verdict in
favour of amendments.
It is time that the
disgruntled leaders face the facts and take part in the proceedings of the
elected bodies for which they were elected by the people.

I would like to say that two major parties of the opposing alliance have showed
their capabilities twice in the past. In 1999, Pakistan was completely a failed
state. They had played havoc to the country. It is LFO that allowed them to
take part in the elections. Otherwise, in my opinion the politicians of the past
era would have been banned entering the assemblies.

The
role of opposition parties in Pakistan is not up to the mark. Instead of
protesting against the LFO, the leaders of opposition parties should emphasis
more as how to solve the problems of the masses, who elected these leaders to
make the legislation and not to waste their time on the petty issues like the
LFO and President’s uniform.
After
the assemblies came into existence, the attitude of the opposition parties has
been completely negative. Their priority is how to remove General Pervez
Musharraf from the post of President. The leaders of opposition parties are not
sincere in solving people’s problems, which belong to their constituencies.
What
will happen if members of the opposition parties will keep on continuing their
agitation in the assemblies? The President will dissolve the assemblies and will
sent everybody back home and this will be the end of their "agitation
story". The leaders of the opposition parties should forget once for all
that they will not be able to bring the people on the streets to support them in
the assemblies.
It
is my sincere suggestion to the leaders of the opposition parties that instead
of sticking to the two points of LFO and the President’s uniform, it would be
more appropriate for them to do the legislation in the assemblies in the
interest of the nation to whom they are answerable, as the time is running fast
and with the passage of time miseries of the people have multiplied.
The
bottom line for the opposition leaders should be to serve the people and not to
run after the President just for the sake of opposing him at every front, as the
international and other domestic issues, i.e. Pakistan-India relations, Kashmir
issue, un-employment of the youths, law and order situation in the country,
education and health care issues are much more important than LFO and the
President’s uniform.

The opposition should concentrate on these points of the LFO, it will be better for them and for Pakistani poor people. The President has taken the Pakistani nation out of the serious crisis. Therefore we should let him perform his duties.

President should issue an ordinance that all MNA's or MPA's should sit in their constituencies with no hustle and bustle, and should show progress for the country. Chief Ministers of the provinces should be responsible for those tasks.
All the MNAs and MPAs should be given projects of any thing that could be a source of development in any domain of human activity, It can be cleansing of the streets, increasing the literacy ratio, etc.
If found guilty and got any proof against his unlawful activities, then he should be brought to the book and be made to suffer some sort of punishment in the presence of public.

In this country the opposition always create problems for the de facto government. My suggestion is that they should not create problems for the Musharraf government to move smoothly.
This is high time to unite the nation keeping in our mind that India is not ready to give us any relaxation at any cost. Instead, the opposition should concentrate on the united efforts in cooperation with the government to make Pakistan stronger and political stable land

LFO is not an issue and no one is asking Gen. Musharraf to go except few orderlies receiving orders from Jeddah & Dubai. Democracy is the game of numbers and opposition has far less numbers.

From the very first day, the behaviour of the opposition in National Assembly regarding LFO is quite unpleasing. At least now after the speaker's ruling, there are expectations of seeing a sensible and flexible attitude from them but nevertheless it hasn't changed that much.
The opposition must understand that there are more serious issues then the LFO and should work with the government for something useful and advantageous to the nation.

The government as well as the opposition they don't think about poor people of Pakistan except the issues of their own interests. They are more selfish about their seats and money.
I blame both in the sense that they should concentrate more on the availability of hygienic food, electricity, clean water, fine roads, new industries that will create more jobs,
