House of the Dragon star Emily Carey’s new Netflix show Geek Girl has released a first-look trailer.
This series is adapted from Holly Smale's best-selling novels of the same name.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into the world of Harriet Manners, portrayed by Emily Carey, a 16-year-old geek who unexpectedly finds herself scouted by a modeling agency during a school trip.
In the exciting new trailer, Harriet is taken into a world of busy agents, private designers, really tall heels, and a good-looking young model with a nice smile.
The trailer hints at Harriet's change from a shy teen to a successful model, but it also shows her worries about handling both school and the glamorous fashion world.
Meanwhile, joining Carey in the cast is Liam Woodrum as Nick Park, a young supermodel who becomes a significant figure in Harriet's journey.
The series also features Tim Downie, Jemima Rooper, Rochelle Harrington, Hersha Verity, Sarah Parish, Emmanuel Imani, Zac Looker, Sandra Yi Sencindiver, and Daisy Jelley.
Geek Girl will be stream on Netflix from Thursday 30 May 2024.
Additionally, the ten-part series will be available globally on Netflix, except for Canada, where it will stream on STACKTV.
