Bollywood actress Sunny Leone opened up about the struggles of a working mom in the times of global pandemic and the worries that clouded her mind in the past few weeks.
The Mostly Sunny actress revealed what it has been like for her to return to India full-time to work. The starlet has returned to the country with her three children — twin sons Asher and Noah, and daughter Nisha. This makes it harder for her to balance her home-life and work— all the while taking extra care of the Covid-19 SOPs to keep her family safe.
“I’m trying to stay as safe as possible, getting testing done every 2-3 days,” Sunny revealed.
“But you have to hope that the producer, the director and everybody that you are working with has the same mission as you that is to be safe. And most of the people that I worked with are that way and we as a company, my husband and all of us together carry safety forward and make sure those safety measures are set, at least when I am on set,” she added.
When it comes to the family front, Sunny talked about fulfilling her responsbolities just like “any other parent.” She is trying to keep up with her acting career to pay the bills while also taking care of her kids and husband.
“I’m no different that anybody else who has children and I’m a working mother and my husband works as well,” she continued. “We have to do what we have to do to provide for our family. Sitting at home is not going to solve anything if we can’t sustain certain type of living like everybody else wants to. Everyone works to take care of their family, their household, their children and I’m also doing the same thing.”
