Miley Cyrus expressed her excitement and gratitude after receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song.

The Hannah Montana alum took to Instagram to express gratitude to her co-writers and the film's lead actress Pamela Anderson for “sharing her moment with us.”

Cyrus wrote, “It's an honor to be nominated for Best Original Song alongside my friends and collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li at the Golden Globes & Critics Choice Awards.”

She further noted, “Pamela is graciously sharing her moment with us. I am continuing to root for her, it's so fun to watch her shine.”

The Flower singer continued, “Thank you Gia Coppola for inviting me to be a part of your gem ‘The Last Showgirl.’”


For Best Original Song, the other nominees were Compress/Repress from Challengers by Trent Reznor and El Mal from Emilia Perez by Clément Ducol.

It also included Mi Camino from Emilia Perez by Clément Ducol, Kiss The Sky from The Wild Robot by Delacey and Forbidden Road from Better Man by Robbie Williams.

For the unversed, the 82nd annual Golden Globes will be held on January 5, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
