Internet’s beloved golden retriever Tuker Budzyn died at 8, the owner revealed a heartbreaking cause of death.
According to PEOPLE, Courtney Budzyn, in a tearful video on Saturday, September 5, announced the heartbreaking news to the followers that Tucker died on Wednesday, September 2.
The news came a week after she revealed that the dog who was loved by the millions of followers was diagnosed with lymphoma.
Budzyn said while holding a box that seemingly contained her pet dog’s ashes, “I thought that was the last sad video I was going to make, but it’s not … Tucker passed away Wednesday, unexpectedly. He was doing really well with treatment, but we didn’t know that he had lymphoma in his intestines.”
Courtney in the emotional statement confirmed that Tucker died following complications from cancer.

Taking to Instagram, Courtney shared how Tucker’s health deteriorated in days, and despite all the efforts, they were unable to save him.
Courtney said, “And since the chemo was working so good and he was going into remission, it left a hole in his intestine where the cancer was, and he got an infection that seemed to hit him overnight. And we woke up and we rushed him in and we thought… we thought we were going to beat the infection."
“He was so weak, and we got him on antibiotics and fluids, but it was too late. We tried to save him, but we couldn’t save him. He’s home now. I want you to know I tried to do everything I could. I did everything. His temperature kept raising, and there was nothing… and nothing was changing it. We had to let him go,” she added.
The influencer shared that Tucker had “the best time of his life” in the three weeks before his death, adding that he went to park several times, wrestle with [his son] Todd in the backyard, and went swimming a couple times.
She concluded her video by thanking her followers and said she feels she owes it to Tucker “to move forward and to heal.”
Tucker had amassed millions of fans across social media after Courtney adopted him in 2018.
