Comedian Carrot Top remains hospitalized in Las Vegas, prompting the cancellation of his scheduled Friday and Saturday performances at Luxor Las Vegas, as per TMZ.
A reported suggested the comedian, whose real name is Scott Thompson, is currently under recovery, as he receives medical care following a reported suicide attempt, according to his representative.

Thompson's representative told Fox News Digital, "Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs."
"His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy," the representative added.
MGM Resorts, where Thompson has performed for years, also expressed support for the comedian. A spokesperson said the company was relieved to hear that he was recovering and wished him strength during his recovery.
As per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Carrot Top was spotted at a bar in the city around 2 p.m. Friday, several hours before his scheduled 8 p.m. performance.
Notably, the reason behind the hospitalisation and further details are yet to be officially disclosed.
Thompson has maintained a long-running Las Vegas residency at Luxor since 2005. His current contract with the venue extends through 2030.
Tickets for his scheduled performances next week currently remain available, although it is unclear whether his hospitalization will also affect those shows.
