The former Philadelphia Eagles center briefly forgot his neutral analyst headset, repeatedly referring to his former team as “we” during a live halftime breakdown.
Pat McAfee calls out the bias
Analyzing the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears, Kelce slipped into fan mode. “We played really well offensively. We had opportunities. We’ve run the ball well,” Kelce said, analyzing Philadelphia’s drive.
Co-host Pat McAfee immediately cut in to highlight the broadcasting violation. “A lot of ‘we’ talk out of Jason for Philly,” McAfee joked on air. Realizing his slip-up live, Kelce immediately raised his hands and apologized directly to the viewers, saying, “Sorry, sorry. Sorry, Bears fans.”
