Months after tying the knot, Emma Roberts still appears to be swooning over her “haunting” wedding look.
The American Horror Story star took to her official Instagram account on Friday, October 2, to share some more glimpses from her wedding with Cody John, which took place in July 2026.
“hitched,” she captioned.
The carousel opened with a loved-up photo of the lovebirds, locking lips as they posed for the camera at a private Creekside family estate and ranch in Sun Valley, Idaho.
In the next shot, the Save Me actor can be seen joyfully reading his wedding vows, while one of the frames captured them elated as they met the guests.
Emma Roberts’ wedding dress
For her big day, Roberts wore an unconventional, vintage-inspired wedding gown custom-designed by Monique Lhuilier.
To give her look an “antique ghost doll” vibe, she chose a tea-stained, off-white dress over a traditional white gown.
When the We’re the Millers actress’s wedding photos made their way on the internet shortly after the ceremony, her dress heavily divided fans, sparking intense only debate as fans found it “weird.”
Why Emma Roberts wanted to channel a ‘haunted doll’ at her wedding?
During an appearance on the September 15 episode of Kate and Oliver Hudson’s Sibling Revelry, Emma Roberts defended her decision to wear an untraditional wedding dress.
“I said I wanted to look like haunted doll, which people thought was weird, but that was my vibe,” she said, adding, “It was tea dipped. I wanted to look like a ghost, which people also thought was weird. But, you know, I loved it. And I have no regrets.”
In an interview with Vogue from her final dress fitting, the actress shared, “I didn’t really know what I wanted. I just knew that I wanted it to feel very vintage-inspired. I’m obsessed with antique books and treasure hunting, and I love collecting old ephemera, so I really wanted that to shine through in the dress.”
