Salman Khan is tapping into the social media potential as he launched his official YouTube channel.
On Friday, October 9, Salman announced his brand-new channel on his Instagram Story, with a fun video of himself reciting the English alphabet.
The surprising video was shared alongside text that read, "Let's start from the beginning...my official YouTube channel. You'll find everything here, from A to Z."
What has Salman Khan posted on his YouTube channel so far?
Following the announcement, fans quickly rushed to show their support, with the YouTube channel reportedly crossing 14,000 subscribers within an hour of its launch.
The profile describes Salman as a "Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian", confirming that it's his official account.
With the promise of giving fans a fresh peek into his professional and personal life, the channel has already uploaded 10 fun Shorts featuring the Bollywood superstar.
Bollywood stars on YouTube
Salman's YouTube debut also places him among Bollywood celebrities who have built digital audiences outside their film careers.
Celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Farah Khan have used the platform to share everything from lifestyle videos and travel diaries to glimpses of their work.
Salman Khan's upcoming films
Besides extending his social media presence, Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss Season 20, marking his 15th instalment as the face of the reality show.
On the big screen, the actor will next appear in Maatrubhumi, previously titled "Battle of Galwan".
Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh. A new release date is yet to be announced following a delay.
Salman is also set to headline filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally's upcoming project, titled Monster.
The film, which features Nayanthara, is scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2027.
