Police raids on Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s royal properties were unlawful

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s properties were raided back in February 2026 as part of a police investigation into allegations that he shared confidential UK government data with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a British trade envoy.

Police searched for documents and electronic evidence related to the case.

Newly released court documents reveal that Thames Valley Police feared that the former Duke of York might try to block searches of his properties by insisting officers obtain permission from the British Monarch first.
