Dreams do come true!

Jay-Z's long-awaited moment to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show proved that dreams do become realities if manifested.

On Monday, October 19th, multiple insiders revealed that the Roc Nation founder is set to join several big names at the upcoming mega event, including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Harry Styles.

The tipster also said Beyoncé's life partner "picked" himself up to perform on the field after years behind the scenes.

Notably, a surprise decision by Jay-Z came to the heels after a booking agent, Hov, responsible for the halftime bookings, revealed that he chose his own name after Justin and Miley's names resurfaced for the potential performances.

Jay-Z's yearn for Super Bowl halftime show

The 56-year-old American rapper and businessman has been yearning for his onstage moment at the Super Bowl halftime gigs since 2019, when Roc Nation partnered with the NFL to curate and produce the halftime show.

At the time, he was brought by the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to lift the show's cultural standing and win back casual viewers, under an arrangement worth $5 million USD a year that the league extended for another five years in 2024.

So far, neither Jay-Z nor his team has confirmed his forthcoming musical performance at the Super Bowl, as the rapper is expected to make the announcement during his ongoing concert shows.

Jay-Z ongoing gigs and notable performances

The Niggas in Paris hitmaker has performed his limited run of Jay-Z 30th anniversary stadium shows, which began on July 10th, as he is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, through this tour.

He is set to perform next in Inglewood, California, at SoFi Stadium on October 23rd and October 24th, 2026.

Before Jay-Z, his wife and popular American singer, Beyoncé, also performed at the 2027 Super Bowl show twice: first on February 3rd, 2013, and again on February 7th, 2016.
