Kourtney Kardashian has shared surprising and unexpected dating advice Kanye West gave her years before she got involved with her now-husband, Travis Barker.
In a new episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme founder revealed something truly mind boggling, capturing tremendous attention from fans.
Kourtney shared that while visiting her stepson Landon Barker’s new home, she discussed relationships with the young men and jokingly advised them to “wait for marriage” ahead of becoming intimate with someone.
She then recalled a conversation with West, who was married to her sister Kim Kardashian from 2014 to 2021, saying, “I remember Kanye told me, I feel like God is calling me to tell you that you should not hook up with any randoms until you are with your husband.’ ”
“And I didn’t,” Kourtney added.
Kanye’s advice appears to have remained with Kourtney, who tied the knot with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker after years of friendship.
The couple began dating in 2021 and became engaged just months later. They exchanged vows three times, first in Las Vegas in an unofficial ceremony, followed by a courthouse wedding in Santa Barbara and a final celebration in Italy.

Kourtney and Travis welcomed their son, Rocky Thirteen, in November 2023. The Poosh founder also shares three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, with her former partner, Scott Disick.
Meanwhile, Travis recently reflected on the beginning of their romance during an appearance on Billy Corgan’s The Magnificent Others podcast.
He stated friends had repeatedly suggested they get together ahead of their relationship’s beginning.
“We both wanted it to happen,” Travis explained, adding that they knew they would fall deeply in love if they pursued a relationship.
The musician also got candid about their blended family, stating their children get along well and that he values being present in their lives.
