Ranbir Kapoor sat for a Netflix India interview with comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi, where he conveyed what can be expected from his upcoming movie, Animal Park, which is a sequel to his 2023 blockbuster, Animal.
The star first revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga likes staying tight-lipped about his scripts. Even when they were filming for the first instalment, Bobby Deol reportedly had no clear idea about it, whereas Anil Kapoor was only aware of the father-son relationship.
Moving on to the plot for Animal Park, Ranbir said, “He has one or two scenes ready, and they are very exciting. Because of part one's success, he has the confidence to go even darker, deeper, and more complex. He can do anything."
Despite the negative responses received regarding the toxic masculinity shown in Animal, the Jagga Jasoos actor believes that it has “started a healthy conversation in the society,” automatically allowing the sequel be even more explicit.
It is pertinent to note that in July 2019, Sandeep Vanga said during a chat with Film Companion, “If you can't touch your woman wherever you want, and if you can't slap, kiss, or use cuss words. I don't see the emotion there.”
