Deepika and Ranveer have officially announced the news of expecting their first child, days after the Om Shanti Om actress sparked pregnancy rumours during her presence at 2024 BAFTAs in London.
Taking to their respective Instagram account on Thursday, February 29, 2024, the couple shared a sweet illustration, featuring cute little baby clothes and shoes on a white background.
“September, 2024, Deepika & Ranveer” was written on it, revealing that the baby is due in the mentioned month.
Soon after the Ram Leela actors shared the news, their fans and celebrities from the film fraternity flocked to the comments section to congratulate the couple.
The 12th Fail actor, Vikrant Massey wrote, “OMGGGGGGG!!!! Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen aap dono ko!!!”
“Congratulations sweetheart, Best phase of life coming soon” Bipasha Basu noted.
Hrithik Roshan’s former wife, Suzain Khan also commented, “big big congratulations to u both.”

This official announcement from Deepika and Ranveer came a week after it was reported by multiple media outlets, that the Tamasha actress is pregnant.
An inside source confirmed to The Week about Deepika’s pregnancy at that time, claiming that the Baajirao Mastani actress is in her second trimester.
