Britney Spears reaches settlement in divorce from Sam Asghari after nine months

Britney Spears has finally reached a settlement in her divorce from her third husband Sam Asghari, marking the end of their nine-month separation.

As per the reports of TMZ, the Toxic singer and the Black Monday star are reportedly awaiting the judge's approval of their final divorce documents, submitted by Britney's well-known celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

Sam and his lawyer Neal Hirsh decided to not challenge the prenuptial agreement, which protects Britney's reported $60M fortune.

It was earlier stated by the publication that Spears was going to give Asghari a six-figure cheque and that she was also paying his rent at his new bachelor home. Both of these details are still unknown.

The former twosome married on June 9, 2022 at a star-studded ceremony at Britney’s Thousand Oaks mansion.

Their marriage also faced a miscarriage but they planned on “trying to expand their beautiful family.”

As per the Daily Mail, Britney was accused of cheating on the Iranian-born model with a staff member named Paul Soliz, however, she continued to praise Sam.

Britney Spears wrote about Sam Asghari in her 2023 bestselling memoir The Woman In Me, “I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn't drink. He's a gift from God.”
