Demi Lovato back at Met Gala after 2016 'uncomfortable' experience

Demi Lovato made a striking return to the Met Gala, marking her first appearance since candidly discussing her "uncomfortable" experience at the event back in 2016.

The Confident singer adorned a stunning Prabal Gurung gown, her dress followed this year’s theme, Garden of Time as it is embellished with flower appliqués and a flowing train.

She elevated her glamour by choosing KIKO Milano cosmetics, featuring captivating eye makeup and glossy lips, complemented by stunning jewellery from De Beers.

As per Page Six, the Heart Attack singer dropped the image at that time, she posing on the red carpet as Nicki Minaj, appeared to give her the side eye.

She shared a since-deleted photo with the hashtags, “#cool #sof—kingawkward #notforme.”

Lovato captioned a picture, “This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met.”

While talking with Billboard after two years, the Camp Rock star reflected on her “terrible experience” at the Met Gala.

She said “This one celebrity was a complete bitch and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink.”

“I changed my clothes, but I still had my diamonds on—millions of dollars of diamonds on in an AA meeting,” Lovato revealed.

She added, “And I related more to the homeless people in that meeting who struggled with the same struggles that I deal with than the people at the Met Gala—fake and sucking the fashion industry’s expletive.”

Following that incident, there was speculation that Vogue's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, had banned Demi Lovato from attending the glamorous Mer Gala.
