King Charles has been criticized for “pettiness” after he repeatedly brushed off Prince Harry upon return to United Kingdom, and now a royal expert has said that it could be a dent to his Royal image.

Yesterday, on May 7, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex had confirmed that Your Majesty wouldn’t be seeing his son because of an alleged packed working schedule amidst cancer diagnosis.

Today, the Buckingham Palace announced that he will be soon joining Prince William for handing him the regiment that was formerly to come under Prince Harry’s leadership.

Speaking to Sky News, royal correspondent Jack Royston has pointed that such deliberate humiliations could damage the monarchy as the Duke of Sussex still has a very highly reputed army status in Britain.

Highlighting King Charles’ decision to not let his younger son meet him, the royal expert said, “I think it's very disappointing. I also think the monarchy is at risk here of looking a little bit petty.”

“On the day we discovered that Prince Harry, King Charles weren't going to meet, they also advertised an event in which King Charles is going to give Prince William an accolade that 100% would have gone to Prince Harry," he added.
