Nabeel Zafar advises Sania Mirza to 'remarry'

Pakistani TV actor Nabeel Zafar remarked about former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza’s personal life following her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.

The Bulbulay famed actor appeared as a guest on the talk show Mind Na Karna with Ahmad Ali Butt, and in a light-hearted segment suggested that Mirza should move forward in life by embracing a second marriage.

When asked if Mirza should fly solo in life, Nabeel shared his thoughts on remarriage in Islam.

He said, "What I have to say is that if an unfortunate incident like this (divorce) happens to any woman, she should look at religious teachings and how they are practiced in Arab countries. This is a dilemma in our society, but women who experience such an ordeal should remarry as per God’s will."

"One man’s absence from your life does not mean the end of the world. Everyone is enough for themselves but this is the divine order of universe. God created the world to create a family. In accordance with that, you should marry (again) and have a partner for life,” Nabeel added.

Nabeel Zafar’s remarks have sparked discussions highlighting broader societal views on remarriages.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik’s unexpected divorce came at the heels of the latter’s wedlock to actress Sana Javed.
