Daniel Radcliffe opens up about special role at co-star’s wedding

Daniel Radcliffe has spilled the beans about a cute back story of his recent role of ring bearer at his Merrily We Roll Along costar Lindsay Mendez’s wedding.

While talking to Variety at the Drama League Awards on Friday, May 17, Daniel confessed that he was only asked to be the ring bearer the day before the wedding.

He expressed, “It was really nerve-wracking because, until the day before [the wedding], I wasn’t the ring bearer, then Lindsay thought it would be funny because I’m the ring bearer in the show.”

The Harry Porter star further recalled his experience as ring bearer, noting, “I was like ‘Oh, man, now I’ve got responsibility at this wedding, and I have to not screw it up. I have to not drop the rings in Central Park and lose them.”

“But it was all fine. It was good," he concluded.

Besides Daniel, other Merrily We Roll Along costar Jonathan Groff also served as the officiant in the wedding.

Lindsay Mendez, got married to the All Rise actor J. Alex Brinson on April 22, 2024 in New York City.
