Nicki Minaj has been released from police custody after being arrested in the Netherlands for possession of "soft drugs."

As per CNN, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee said the Barbie World singer detained in their custody “on suspicion of exporting soft drugs, has been released.”

“Following consultation with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect received a monetary fine and is now permitted to continue her journey,” the statement continued.

Minaj was on her way to Manchester, England from Amsterdam for a concert on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour when she was reportedly detained on Saturday.

In Instagram live video on the account of the Everybody hitmaker, which was subsequently circulated on numerous social media platforms, Minaj can be heard conversing with police at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam while recording with her phone.

Minaj can be seen, saying in a clip that “pre-rolls they found,” and she is then being guided out of her car and asked to board into police van.

When she questions why she is being instructed to get into the van, an official informs her that she is "under arrest," and later specifies that it is for "carrying drugs."

In response, Minaj asserts, "I’m not carrying drugs."

Additionally, Minaj is performing on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour to promote her latest album, released late last year.

According to the X account of the concert venue Co-op Live, she was set to perform in Manchester, UK on Saturday night May 25, but the show has now been postponed.
