Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal thanked his fans for their lovely wishes after recovering from the deadly coronavirus.
The Masaan actor shared with the fans on Friday that he has recovered fully and tested negative for Covid-19. Kaushal took to his Instagram to announce the news with a grinning picture of himself along with a simple caption that read: ‘Negative.’
The 32-year-old actor posted the news on his Instagram story as well, “Tested negative today.”
Kaushal further wrote, “Thank you for your lovely wishes and messages. My prayers for all who are recovering. Stay safe!”
The Raazi actor announced the news of contracting the virus on April 5th. Ever since then, Kaushal was under home quarantine and taking the prescribed medicines and precautionary measures.
He explained that “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19.”
“Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor”, he said.
Kaushal urged everyone to take care of themselves in these unexpected times and made a humble request as well: “I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested.”
