Ansari opens at Xinhua Mall, Lahore |

Based
in Karachi, the fun loving young designer Nomi Ansari has chosen the
cultural city of Lahore to open shop in. His first shop opens today
at Xinhua Mall opposite the extremely popular Coffee, Tea & Company.
The mall is fast gaining popularity as the most up-scale area of Gulberg
and retail outlets like NEXT can also be seen in the vicinity. Nomi
Ansari will be stocking two of his most popular lines: DNA, Nomi's
pret line and NAC - Nomi Ansari Couture. Equally proficient with both,
he's a cinch to be a hit in the city that is so fond of colour, even
his shop launch has over shot the Basant season. For all you fashionistas
dying to pick up an outfit or two, Nomi is offering a 10 per cent
mark down for the first two days. Enjoy while it lasts!

| Maheen,
Rizwan Beyg, Deepak Perwani and Bunto Kazmi are amongst the names
going to the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Mumbai. According
to Deepak Perwani who Instep met at Vaneeza's mammoth show for V9's
new lines. Rathi Vinay Jha, an Indian bureaucrat has invited them
personally to Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. When we asked Fashion
Pakistan's CEO Rizwan Beyg whether this trip was in preparation for
Karachi Couture Week, he replied cryptically "We now believe
that we should do more and talk less. When one talks too much it gets
expectations high." After the fab collection Rizwan put up at
the Carnival De Couture, expectations from him are very high. Here's
hoping he tries a hand at pret for Pakistan Fashion Week! |
