What misconceptions do people have about you?
 Some people think I am very arrogant, and from a musician’s perspective there are certain individuals who think that I am skeptical about collaborating with other musicians/artists. And then there are people out there who think I am an atheist.
What is the worst rumor you have heard about yourself?
Fortunately there have been quite a few, but the one that I really liked was when my aunt came and told me that her colleague at work told her that Shallum got married to a woman who happens to be at least 15 years older than him. Let me clarify that I am not an ageist. I don’t believe in ageism as long as there is love, I wouldn’t mind if she is 20 or 40 or 45 years of age. It’s just a number and how you approach your life. It doesn’t end here. She also mentioned that I spend the entire day taking care of her kids, and was planning to convert if you know what i mean. Now that is something that will never ever happen.
Any lessons learnt the hard way?
You live and you learn every day, there is so much to learn, so much to share and so much to discover. Be yourself no matter what they say. Do what ever makes you happy but always share the happy moments. Every thing in life has come the hard way, that’s the least I can say.
What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever said to you?
They have always been very sweet.
Tell us something no one knows about you?
Now why would I tell you some thing that no one knows about me, but now that you have asked, I’ll be nice and sweet, I am actually fish slat water fish.
What drives you: money, fame or success?
Has to be my energy, success, fame and money are all subjective.
What do you fail to understand about the opposite sex?
Mind games, I mean what’s the need, just look around things are quite complicated.
What is the most important relationship advice you can give?
Not the best person to give advice on relationships, there is one thing I would like to share. I think it’s absolutely imperative to be true to yourself, be yourself and speak your mind, be passionate loving and kind, always find time to unwind. Always love your dog. I don’t have one but plans to get some. A dog’s love can be inspirational and can eventually help you to access and understand the vicious cycle.
 When was the last time you kicked ass?
Last night, it was incredible. I had a great time.
What do you consider your best physical asset?
My fingers.
How do you unwind?
Having good food, listening to some thing interesting, meeting my friends.
Have you ever done anything you shouldn’t have?
Yes I have done several things I shouldn’t have done. But now that I have done those things, I know what I shouldn’t do.
Have you ever envied another person?
Maybe. I am human at least they think I am.
