WHO Sublime

WHAT Short Kameezes

WHERE PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week

Let’s take a deep breath, ladies. We are going to join hands and say a final goodbye to the long kameeze. It’s had a great and long (no pun intended) run but something’s aren’t meant to last.

As we say goodbye to the long shirt, let’s say hello to the short kameez again. If you’re shy about taking your hemlines high, don’t fret. You can keep the flowing skirt but had structure from the waist up and you’ll hardly notice the difference.

This year at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week, we saw designers taking the step to shorten kameezes. This tailored jacket-cum-kurti by Sublime By Sara Shahid is the prime example of the new short and structured kameeze with flair and flow being taken over by crush trousers.

Asifa & Nabeel work within the flared look but keep the shirt short and add length to your limbs with churidar sleeves and pajamas.

Zaheer Abbas takes the short
kameeze into the future with a monotone look and highlights the sleekness with pleats

Nickie Nina show how the short kameeze is perfect for this year’s bridal season
