The comics by
The Oatmeal

We live in the age of Internet. The World Wide Web is an awfully big place to navigate your way around. In between working your way through the research and networking, spend some time on The Oatmeal (www.theoatmeal.com) because it is one website that will have you hooked to its absurd quizzes, hilarious comics and cartoons.

The brainchild of Matthew Inman, a 27-year-old web designer, The Oatmeal stays relevant to our times, making comics and cartoons and quizzes that tackle other uber-famous web networking sites such as MySpace, Twitter and Facebook. Some of its most viewed comics include 'How to suck at Facebook', 'Facebook + MySpace = Facespace' et al.

But that's not all. It even includes spoofs on the super-famous Twilight series, Avatar fever (Avatar & Aliens are the same goddamn movie'), Justin Bieber etc.

The Oatmeal is actually coming out as a book now because its popularity has been on the rise, despite it being an Internet-only project when it began roughly fourteen months ago.

Some are just plain ol' fun like a quiz on 'How many hungry weasels could your body feed' or '10 things you need to stop tweeting about'. For the sake of humour or just catching a break in between working, give The Oatmeal a read. As far as Internet projects go, this is one of the better ones, as entertaining and delightful as Texts from Last Night.

Bina Khan's website
Bina Khan is a renowned makeup artist and is known to be a perfectionist. Her style is natural but classic and she makes brides glow, literally. Her salon too is well-equipped and offers delightful packages on special occasions.

Bina Khan's website reflects all of this; Binakhanmakeup.com speaks reverently of hair, makeup, skin and the products that work with each to produce amazing results. She shares with us the people in the field whom she loves, and the products by them that she adores and it is hard not to get caught up in her enthusiasm.

But the best part? The tips Bina Khan shares with her readers. There is no beauty secret that is too good to be kept from her fans and Bina shares them all. From how to make up the hard to get right smoky eye to products that should be used everyday, Bina lets it all out.

Currently we are adoring her tips to achieve the so-now beach hair which Bina points out, quite recalls Farrah Fawcett's flip in the '70s. There is a step by step guide on how to get to the perfect 'do, but our favourite bit in the list is how she explains the correct way to apply serum or anti-frizz to your hair. Who does that! Bina Khan, that's who!

So if you're into beauty and style and spend a chunk of your earnings on beauty products, this is one website you want to check out.
